Khmer Poem - ប្រាង្គព្រះវិហារ The Pillars of Preah Vihear

Here's another great Cambodian poem written by Mr. Sourn Sereyratha -- a real Khmer patriot. I really admire Mr. Sourn's works. The title of this poem is called ប្រាង្គព្រះវិហារ -- I translated to English as "The Pillars of Preah Vihear Temple".

Thank you!. Yes, the Thai has to stop wanting our Preah Vihear. Border demarcation must be marked 4.7 km FROM the perimeter of Preah Vihear Temple. All around 4.7 km -- That is where the Thai frontier is. Khmer's Preah Vihear Temple is sacred. Be warned, Thai, or your race shall be cursed.

As a Cambodian people, I will never buy Thai products, I will never use Thai service or even visit Thai.

Thai is GREEDY to get Khmer Territory.

The poem is beautifully written. It's short yet meaningful. Every word of his poem deeply expresses what's in Cambodian's historical heart.

Hi, i blog-hopped and landed here at your blog. Just wanted to let you know that i enjoyed reading your posts and admire your frankness in your views and opinions about the political corruption in our country. I'm a Cambodian studying overseas and i'm ashamed i cannot not read or write in Khmer (i can only speak) so i rely on blogs written in English to to get news about Cambodia.

Keep blogging! Anyway, have a good day!
