Be my friend or I put you in prison

I am very sad by the verdict of Vietnam court to imprison the venerable monk Tim Sakorn, a Cambodian citizen for charge of stirring up "the unity friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia". Tim Sakorn found guilty of the charge and the court sentences him to serve 1 year time in prison.

Vietnam must realise it cannot coerce the friendship. It's like if you don't want to be my friend, I will come in to arrest you and put you in prison. Still if you show displeasure you don't want to befriend with me, I'll put you in prison too. My mind cannot comprehend this concept at all. Friendship between each other must start from the heart of one another.

I would like to humbly ask Vietnam to free Tim Sakorn.

I do not understand why Vietnamese government imprison Bikhu Tim Sokhorn for being a monk in Cambodia. WHY is he accused of disturbing viet government when he crossed midland Cambodia to go back to his homeland Kampuchea Krom. There's no proof that he cause trouble. Cambodian who knew him recognize him as a very kind monk. Just because he's a Khmer Krom, the vietnamese gov't take away his life like that? Cambodian should sue the vietnamese government.

IT is so sad that how the Vietnamese gov't trap our people and poison our society in our motherland. We speak the truth about them being bad, they send bullets. That's soo sad, living with frustration everyday.

It is a shame that we as cambodian citizens let this happen. How can we sit there and let these vietnamese bastard put a kind and calm monk in jail. He had know influence in government what so ever. The vietnamese government/khmer accuse him of helping the khmer krom organization in the US. Which is not true at all. He did help fellow khmer/khmer krom who live around the temples. I am apaul by how the cambodian government can let this happen to their own citizen.

Human right in Cambodia is a lot better than in Vietnam. I heard often some monks, priests, or ministers arrested in Vietnam. In the past only Vietnamese ones were the victims. Unfortunately recently communist Vietnamese goverment caught a Khmer monk who was born and lived in Vietnam in his whole life (ditto his great parent). It's an insulting to Khmer people, because according to Cambodian culture, Khmer monk is above all.
Definitely Hun Sen has failed to protect his Khmer people.
Down it Hun Sen!
